About this position

Ashish Jayalata & Associates, Chartered Accountants, Sahibabad, Ghaziabad, is looking for a motivated Article Assistant to join our team. The articleship is built to give practical exposure to the work a CA actually does — statutory and tax audits, income tax, GST, accounting, ROC and corporate compliance, and client assignments — rather than confining you to a single kind of filing.

This is a learning position with real client work attached to it. Everything you prepare is reviewed by a Chartered Accountant before it goes out, so you learn what is correct and why, not just what to type.

Who we are looking for

Someone who is motivated to learn the profession properly, is comfortable asking questions, and takes care over the records they handle. If you have just graduated, have done an internship, or have a year or two of experience and want broader exposure, we would like to speak with you.

Key Responsibilities

• Statutory audit and tax audit — assisting in fieldwork, preparing supporting schedules and arranging audit documentation
• Income tax — preparation of returns for individuals, proprietors and business entities, and follow-up on outstanding assessments
• GST — return preparation, reconciliation of GST data with the books of accounts, and assistance with notices and queries
• Accounting — day-to-day bookkeeping, bank and ledger reconciliations, and support in finalising client accounts
• ROC and corporate compliance — company incorporation, annual filings and maintenance of company records
• Client assignments — supporting the Chartered Accountant on live client engagements and day-to-day client queries
